Walking routes and social distancing

looproutePlease follow your walking route in the hospital indicated by lines on the floor. In places where patients or staff can't pass at the same time, there are waiting areas where you can wait at a distance of 1.5 metres (at least two arms’ length) from others.

Please note: the directions on your appointment letter may have changed!

In the hospital, always keep 1.5 metres away from other patients, visitors and staff (at least two arms’ length).

You will see that plastic screens have been installed in a number of places and that yellow lines have been applied to the floor. Make sure you always stay in front of the yellow line. In this way you keep sufficient distance from, for example, the receptionist. If there's already a patient at reception, you do of course have to stay 1.5 metres away from this patient.

The 1.5 metres distance also applies in our waiting rooms, where you will find stickers indicating where you are not allowed to sit. Where possible, outpatient clinics also ensure that patients wait for the doctor in the consulting/examination room. It is possible that for a treatment lasting a few hours, your companion may not be allowed to come with you, but will have to wait at a distance in the Serrehal or the Poliplein. In that case, you may be able to call this companion during your appointment, so that he or she can still listen in and talk remotely.

We provide hand sanitising facilities at the hospital entrance and at each reception desk in our outpatient clinics. Use the hand sanitiser to clean your hands!
